Recorded in 2007 with support from the UK Artist Council, our debut and the turning point of our journey into fusing east and west.

Sunday Driver's debut album was released in 2009, it took it's inspiration from Victorian London and the cross of cultures created by the British Raj

* 'City of Dreadful Night was awarded FATEA award for innovation 2009

* It was funded by The UK Arts Council and Escalator Music.

* Songs from the album featured in the BBC Radio 4 Documentary 'Jatropha the Wonder Plant'.

* Tracks used on soundtrack for the British feature film 'Junkhearts', starring Eddie Marsan.

* The Artwork for the inlay was commissioned with Claudia Drake in the US
